KGet Error

Hello Everybody!
I am using Slackware 10.2 with KDE 3.5 and I get the following error when trying to download anything with Kget:
"The file or folder http://link.to.download does not exist"
It happens always and I am sure that the file I am trying to download exists.
Any help is appreciated.

Sorry for the delayed answer, the output from the console is:
kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Could not write data. I googled it but could not get a hint.
