Panel icon size

KDE-3.4

Did a comple re-install of my OS (Slackware 10.2) and the panel icons are too big, as usual, however this time I could find no way of selecting small or tiny icons.
Searching this forum shows that others have the same problem, no answer.
I renamed /home/william/.kde/share/config/kickerrc to kickerrc.default, and copied in its place the previous kickerrc from my backup DVD.

Icons now are the preferred size. Hooray!

I have no idea as to which line in kickerrc makes this change; anyone who knows please post.

here is the kickerrc with the right size of icons:

RE: Panel icon size

In your ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc take a look at the "Size=" line.

"Size=0" is equivalent to "Tiny" under KDE 3.2
"Size=1" is equivalent to "Small"
"Size=2" is equivalent to "Normal"
"Size=3" is equivalent to "Large"

Just edit the kickerrc file and restart KDE.

There may be a GUI option somewhere, but I've yet to find it.

I see it, thanks.
However the original kickerrc for KDE-3.4 had Size=16,
would have needed guessing.
