Enable keyboard in KDE

Right after peripherals has loaded in KDE the keyboared becomes disabled, is there any way from the command line to renable it?

Can you be a bit more explicit, please?
There was an issue with the composite support for the nvidia drivers with similiar symptoms, the keyboard was no more usable but the mouse still moved even if kde didn't react to any mouse click.

If you encounter this same error, edit your xorg.conf file and set the option "RenderAccel" to false.

If not, please provide some more information.
