kopete does not show webcam choice??

I was very excited when I heard that kopete starts to support video chat
and emerged kde-3.5.0 with kopete , under Gentoo,

but when I openend the "configure kopete" menu item,
it only shows 3 tabs, there is no configuration tab for webcams,
but here
http://www.kde-forum.org/artikel/13826/k…-selection.html
the selection shows 5 tabs,
what do I need to do??
thanks

have you checked..

Have you checked what version it is? it needs to be 0.11, you can do this by choosing Help, 'about Kopete'

It is still in beta, I had to compile myself to get the webcam functionality. (not that it is working for me though, as per my previous post, but the option is there!)

RE: kopete does not show webcam choice??

When you do the following in a shell:

Source code

1
echo $KDEDIRS

or

Source code

1
echo $KDEDIR

Does one of the results contain the prefix you installed KDE 3.5 into? Probably they're still pointing to your 3.4 installation.
