There's no "Window" menu in my konqueror! How do I get a terminal emulation?

In the KDE Helpcenter and also in the Konquerer manual it says that there is the posibility of emulating a terminal in konquerer that would follow the file navigation in the file manager. Sounds like a great feature and there's even a picture of it in the manual (help:/konqueror/commandline.html) , but in my konquerer there's no Window menu!? And in the tools menu nothing about terminal emulation ... Is it another version? I'm using Konquerer 3.4.3 (KDE 3.4.3) with Ubuntu 5.10 (Kubuntu) ...

I know that I told that before... Kubuntu's programmers have strange Ideas. Anyways, you can do the following:
open the file /home/<me>/.kde/share/apps/konq-kubuntu.rc

look for the line: <Menu append="about_merge" name="help" >

just before this line, add the following:

press F8

but maybe you just want to press F8 for this.

To open konsole please press F4.

Did you ever played with the f-keys inside konqueror? interesting to find out what happens. :-)

@coco-loco: Unfortunately, that doesn't add the menu for the terminal emulator

tux73 is right. You can press F8 to show/hide the terminal emulator, or F4 (not Alt+F4 :D) to launch Konsole in the current directory. You can see these keyboard shortcuts from Konqueror's Settings > Configure Shortctus.

Alternatively, you can also add them to your toolbar (Settings > Configure Toolbar).
