When do Todo Alarms Activate?

I am using Kontact Calendar as a To do manager. I am trying to use alarms on the Todo events. I check "Reminder" & select 1 minute. The date/time for the Todo only allows a date entry. What time will the reminder alarm activate? I should have had an alarm for a reminder today, but it did not go off. I do have the little calendar icon present in the lower right of my task bar & the Todo's are all present.

RE: When do Todo Alarms Activate?

Todo's and reminders are tricky. If I remember correctly, the offset for a time-less todo is midnight. But that part doesn't seem to work well. :(
Which version are you using by the way? Maybe things have improved for KDE 3.5.

RE: When do Todo Alarms Activate?

I am using KDE 3.3.2 and Kontact 1.0.2. That is the version that comes with Mandriva LE 2005.

Ah, that's a little outdated. The reminder daemon has undergone some improvements in the meantime, maybe the issue has been addressed.
