Cursor theme in KDE 3.5

I just upgraded to 3.5 and the cursor theme is changing. I selected my cursor theme in the KDE Control and the restart. In the KDE desktop, the cursor is changed to the one I selected. When I go to any application like FireFox, the cursor theme changes to the default one. Move back to the desktop and the cursor theme reverts to the selected one. How can I change the cursor theme so the theme is the same for the desktop and the applications?

Thanks

RE: Cursor theme in KDE 3.5

I found problem this too. You need to re-install the mouse theme under the user, so that user has access rights (even though it worked before).

In my case writing

Source code

1
gtk-cursor-theme-name="kubuntu"
with kubuntu being the cursor theme name into ~/.gtkrc-2.0 solved the problem.
