VolumeKeys MasterVolume=>PCM

KDE has automatically assigned the volume keys for Master Volume up and down. However, on my Dell Inspiron 8500, it doesn't help me a lot. That only controls the speaker volumes. If I have headphones, it does nothing. I would like to change so that it changes PCM volume instead. Anyone knows how?

(KDE 3.4.1 on Gentoo)
