KDE Menu Search bar

I have used SuSE 10 and love the KDE menu search bar. I have since switched to kubuntu and am wondering if there is a plugin or something so i can use this feature in other distros...?(

The ubuntu people has strange visions concerning the basic layout ;) I also wonder why they have removed the Window menu in konqueror for example...

Just right-click your kicker icon and select the menu editor. There, you add a new item, give it a name, assign a icon and fill in the command textbox:
