Kmail in Windows

I'm a horrendous person, currently stuck with only Windows, since GRUB and my motherboard went to vicious war.

So while here, there are emails I need to get at rather urgently. I use KMail, and have access to the raw files via Windows Explorer and some fancy widget that made it all visible. But I'm unable to find anything capable of interpreting the mail in its current format.

Is there anything that can read Kmail emails from within Windows XP?

Thanks.

Very likely email programs like the one from Mozilla can import the mails.
You either have them in mbox format or maildir, but modern apps should be able to handle both.

I think someone else here posted how to convert from KMail to Thunderbird.

RE: Kmail in Windows

AFAIK, there is no way to open Kmail folders or addressbooks from Windoze.
BUT you can probably boot from CD with KNOPPIX, open Kmail, export your
mailboxes into mbox format and the addressbooks into CSV, and you're on easy street!
Knoppix to the rescue!!
