K3b converts hyphens in file names converted to underscores

The K3b 0.11.22cvs (Using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" SUSE 9.3) seem to convert filenames with hyphens "-" in them to undescores "_" when burning CD/DVD media. I found out the hard way after burning a Novell Netware Service Pack to a DVD. Has anyone come across this bug and is there a workaround or fix ?
