Upgrade from 3.4.2 to 3.4.3: same problem with kcontrol

Ciao,

I had this problem with KDE 3.4.2 when I tried to open kcontrol:

kio (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from /var/tmp/kdecache-sbianchi/ksycoca
kcontrol: WARNING: No K menu group with X-KDE-BaseGroup=settings found ! Defaulting to Settings/

and control center window is completely void but for a Network tag.
I don't know what caused this problem, since my kconstruct installation worked perfectly for a long time.

I therefore decided to install KDE 3.4.3 with Konstruct.
The installation went through without problems, but I still get the same error with kcontrol!
So the problem is outside KDE....
What's that?

Thanks

RE: Upgrade from 3.4.2 to 3.4.3: same problem with kcontrol

This is the solution:

setenv XDG_DATA_DIRS ~/kde3.4.3/share
setenv XDG_CONFIG_DIRS ~/kde3.4.3/etc/xdg

I think this should be added to the Konstruct documentation.
It seems to me very important.
