Why are RSS feeds part of Kontact and not Konqueror?

Why are RSS feeds part of Kontact and not Konqueror? I don't really have a problem with this, but I'm not keen on having Kontact loaded with RSS feeds. I would have thought it would be more appropriate in Konq. Still, it's a cool app and I've just started using it.

You can use Akregator as a stand-alone application to read RSS feeds if you don't want the RSS plugin of Kontact.
