Recommendation: Yakuake

I would just like to recommend Yakuake (http://yakuake.uv.ro/) to anyone that "jumps" in and out of terminal sessions a lot. It is inspired from the terminal in Id's Quake game. For people that don't know or don't remember what that means, it means that when you press a key (by default F12, but that can be changed) a terminal window slides down the top of the screen. Press the key again, and the terminal slides back up conveniently hidden. I have a keyboard shortcut to Konsole, but I find that this is faster (obviously, it's already loaded), and just pretty cool.

There are all sorts of packages for it on kde-look.org so it's a breeze installing. (Of course you can download the source from the homepage if you prefer.)

Thanks for the link! That looks like a neat program. I wanted something transparent.
