[kopete] remembering settings on startup

I am now using Kopete for my IM. I have configured it in such and such way as to show no search toolbar and small icons on the main toolbar. Strangely enough, I have to reapply those settings on every bootup, but _not_ when I completely close Kopete and restart it manually. I now begin to doubt if this problem will persist, now that I have discovered this, but it has been so for some days (since I installed it, and I shutdown & boot up every day multiple times).

Perhaps someone has some thougts on this...
