No GUI after SuSE 9.1 install (black screen, nothin' else)

I'm a newbie here, I've used Mandrake and Fedoracore3 with no problem. I just installed SuSE 9.1 and the install went great up until the end. Just about the time that KDE would pop up, I got nothing but a blank, black screen. No command prompt, nothin'. Please help me out here!
