Konqueror wont find lame ?

Am running KDE 3.2 under Mandrake 10.1
Have lame installed to decode and encode mp3 and works fine under audacity.
An option in konqueror is to right mouse click and get an option to change a wav file to mp3 or visa-versa, however when I try to do this I get an error message that konqueror cant find the lame file (error message 'lame %f `echo %f | sed 's/\\\\.wav$//'`.mp3')

How do I get konqueror to find the correct location of lame ?
