Firefox trashed KDE desktop

I was clicking around in Firefox trying to get the download directory changed when suddenly KDE went wonky. I'm on Fedora 3 with KDE 3.3.1-2.14.FC3. Stranger still, it's only is wonky on desktop 1, the other 5 are fine. What I mean by wonky is it suddenly threw a bunch of desktop icons on my desktop 1 (computer, home, various files, etc.) and insists on its choice of wallpaper. Also, a right-click on the desktop doesn't give a standard KDE popup menu (bookmarks, run command, windows, configure desktop, etc.), instead it gives something that looks like maybe GNOME (Open terminal, Create Folder, Create Launcher, Create Document, Clean Up by Name, etc.) and in a different font. But again, this weirdness is only on desktop 1. Whah happened!?!? How do I fix it?
