Knode: Mark messages as read on exit

Hi!

In KDE 3.3 Knode marks unread messges read on exiting the program. Now knode leave it as unread, and you have to check every news channel if there are "new" unread messages. There is the possibility to filter new messages, but as soon as you viewed them once, even if its just a second, they get invisible in the "new filter" because there are now not new anymore :-)

Is this a bug that knode didn't mark all unread messages read on exit, or a feature?

I would apreciate to have the choice if you want this feature, if it is a feature.

Are there any workarounds to simulate this behavior which i missed?

Thanks in advance,
Christian.
