KDE Apps Won't Connect

Hi,

I've just installed the Fedora Code 4 and I can't get some KDE apps to connect (Kopete and KSirc) but all the non KDE apps work fine (temorarily using gaim). It seems as though all K internet apps don't work with the exception of Konqueror. Is there a KDE setting somewhere which I'm missing to set how it's apps are connected to the internet (the computer is connected via an Ethernet card to an ADSL router)?
