KMail and curosor position

Hi,

I was under the impression that the cursor bar, in within the windows that displays the emails was positioning itself to the top side automatically.

My symptom is as follows:
I have perhaps my cursor bar positioned to the fifth email from the top, with Date set to Up (so today's date starts from the top)
When I open KMail, the cursor should position automatically to the first email on top, especially if I have new emails.
This does not happend.

How to fix this? It is quite annoying to go look for my new mail and my curso.
