Help!

Hello!
I've just installed Fedora Core 3 with KDE. Install finished well with no errors, but when i start KDE, the i can see X-clock and terminal windows only. I can start Desktop with typing "kdesktop" in console, but i can't see Kstart menu. Also, everytime i change the window style, color, etc., after reboot it goes back to default. I'm pretty sure that the problem lies within the config. Can anyone help me with that?

I think you should add startkde in your users .xsession file.

Not sure though.

So, open the .xsession file in your home folder, then put the following (and only this one?) in there:

startkde

Thanks for your reply.

It didn't helped thought. .xsession file did not existed untill i created it and added "startkde". I also tried to add this command to "/etc/kde/kdm/Xstartup", but it didn't worked too. Thought i can start KDE by simply typing "startkde" in console window, the system - as far as you can see on the screen shot i attached - still doesn't look right. Any idea how to fix it?
