KDE don't want to exit

Hi! At the start, I'm sorry for my english :P I have a problem, with logging out from KDE. When i clicked "Logout", then appears black screen, with mouse cursor from X, and it's end. To exit from X, I must go to text console (alt+ctrl+1) and press ctrl+c to kill KDE. Last line of text looks that: "klauncher: Exiting on signal 1". I don't know what to do with this. Can anybody help me? I'm sorry one more time for my English ;/

Using KDE 3.4.1, FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE

Hmm, how do you start KDE?

Through KDM or another login manager?
From commandline using startx?

Cheers,
