Installing on Apple Mac running Tiger 10.4

Hi

I have used FINK to install KDE on my Apple Mac Powerbook.

All seemed to go OK except when I fired up KDE via X11.

After a long wait I just got what looked like a KDE welcome box... but all the text in the box was squares.

Can anyone help me resolve this?

I am a total newbie.

The Powerbook is running 10.4.1 and has the new edition of Developer Tools installed.

Any help appreciated.
