[Kopete] Crash on MSN-Login when behind a firewall

I have a strange little problem that might (or might not) be already known:

Using Kopete 0.10.2 (SuSE RPMs, thus KDE 3.4.1 Level "a"), I cannot log into MSN as long as my firewall (on the router of my subnet) is running with full features. When I open up all ports and activate full routing / forwarding and masquerading, MSN works fine - but the 'full protection' mode gets Kopete to crash.

Now, 2 questions:
- Does anybody know which Ports/Protocols I need to allow?
- Can anybody explain why Kopete CRASHES in that case?

My firewall basically is a 'selectively admitted' setup, especially for UDP where I tend to drop everything I don't know since I got too many 'chatty' computers behind it that don't need to "phone home" via UDP all the time.
