Is there any way to make kopete more personalized/configurable?

There are many small things I'd like to change. For instance, I don't want Kopete to move online buddies to the top of the groups, and I'd like it to use server-side contact lists that are loaded only when I'm logged into specific accounts containing them rather than saving all contacts from previously logged in accounts and showing them everytime I run the program. The logging feature annoys me a lot, since it's unable to seprate individual chat sessions.

Long story short, I didn't expect the options to be so limited. So far I've found nothing on the net. I expected some sort of extension/plugin community but to my surprise, there weren't any (other than the offical project of course).

Could anyone make any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it.

Judging from the number of replies and the couple of emails I exchanged with a developer, it seems there simply isn't any solution for what I mentioned.

Thanks for your attention anyway.
