How to backup files asociations configuration?

Hi guys,
I have been using KDE for a long time and I have (quite extensively) changed the mime type asociations for files (in the KDE Control Center).

However, I can't find the file KDE stores the config to.
Can anybody help me? Could you tell me what file to backup to keep my file associations?
(I don't want just to copy the whole backuped .kde back to my newly installed system...I usually copy back only some config files, styles, icons and the stuff - the need for a clean system :)

thx for help...

Mimetype associations seem to be stored in the directories under ~/.kde/share/mimelnk/
