PyQT from Konqueror

Hi everyone.
I was wondering: would it be possible to write a Konqueror plugin in Python/PyQt? I mean, is there a way to call a Python/PyQT application from inside Konqueror, and make it interact with Konqueror's data-structure itself (e.g. hiding-showing DOM elements, etc)?

Could be possible if there is a PyKDE base class for the plugin interface and bindings for KHTMLPart.

I guess the latter exists, but you'll have to ask the PyKDE maintainer(s) about the first one.
