KDE uses katakana when Alt Gr is pressed

I have a strange problem with KDE. When I press down Alt Gr and press a letter or number, katakana is produced. This might be a nice thing otherwise, except that @, [, ], ~ or \ symbols cannot be written at all. Pressing Alt and Ctrl at the same time with a letter or a number produces nothing at all. I've tried changing the settings at the Regional & Accessibility page of the control center, but nothing has changed. I have a Finnish-layout Microsoft Wireless multimedia keyboard. It works perfectly in Gnome, so this problem is KDE-based.

Thanks in advance :).
