How to replace kicker with ksmoothdock?

Kicker is great and all, but I really like ksmoothdock. I just want to completly disable kicker, and then enable ksmoothdock to start with X. I already tried googleing, but no luck. Thanks!

Remove panel.desktop from the KDE autostart folder (the system level one), or edit that file to start your panel instead of Kicker

Just try
locate panel.desktop

I think it is better not to go for such a drastic measure...

Try to do it thro' KSmoothDock itself...

When u first run KSmoothDock, it asks whether u wanna disable Kicker Menu by default... Just say "yes" then!!!

If not then go for the drastic measure said above ;)
