Problem installing several KDE programs

I've tried installing several programs, but each time it says qt 3.1 is needed, even though I have installed this package. Anybody have any idea what is wrong? I'm still new at linux.

RE: Problem installing several KDE programs

How do you try to install them? With ./configure && make && su -c "make install"? In that case, you also need the qt 3.1-headers (the package then have the name qt3-devel, or something like that).

You can also check if you have the right version of Qt installed.

If this doesn't work, can you give an example of a program that fails?
