KMail newline while composing

Hi

When composing a new email in kmail the crazy option to insert a newline at a given column was enabled. This makes the message look very ugly for the reciver if his mail window is smaller than the line width of the message (newline happens in the middle of a text lines). Fortunately this option can be switched off and the message witten on one long line.

Even better would be to having the compose window to automaticaly adjust the line width to the window size without acually adding a (hard) newline to the message, the way mozilla does (and kate and most other programs handling text). Is this possible and how?

Grateful for help since KMail is a realy nice mail program, but if it can't do mail composing properly it is quite useless.
