My project is moving up - I think - to Fedora 7 using KDE 3.5.6-9.fc7. I am trying to modify the Login Manager as I have in the past to control the look and feel of the login screen. Trying Control Center->System Administrator->Login Manager doesn't provide the detail or access to the things I want to modify. I would like to:
1. Globally remove the dots representing the password for all users at once without having to go into each account (Security & Privacy->Password & User Accounts).
2. Default my Session Type to KDE and remove (or disable) the "Session Type" drop down menu on Login Screen.
3. Edit the Menu drop down menu on Login Screen to include Restart X Server and Shutdown only.
4. List user account by account name only (I don't need the expanded, amplified name included).
I trust I'm not asking for too much...
