The whole 'index tab' is blank with no item entries showing. It worked before just fine. The problem started after I used the 'configure your computer' and the 'software management' and the 'softwares packages update' which updated all of items.
The kcontrol version that is used right now is 3.4.3 with KDE 3.4.3. The system I use is Mandriva 2006.
I need to change some settings, now can someone help ? This is a problem I have had for a year and I keep on asking around the internet without getting the solution.
check if a newly created users has this problem as well.
If not, then some configuration of the original user is corrupted.
If it does as well, then something is wrong with your installation or with the system configuration.
