Kopete won't auto connect on reconnection

I'm using Kopete on DesktopBSD, with fluxbox as my window manager. I'm sharing a dial up internet connection with a second (Windows) machine - which is the host. I'm not able to be online all the time for obvious reasons, but when I reconnect my host machine, I want Kopete to automatically reconnect when it detects the LAN connection is alive again. Is it possible to set that up some how?

Also, I have no option in the right click menu (from the tray icon) to "connect all". If that option were there it would be simple enough for me to reconnect manually. I have three separate accounts - MSN, ICQ and Yahoo, so at the moment I have to reconnect them all manually one at a time, which is PITA. I notice in preferences there is an option to "exclude from "connect all"" - so surely that would imply that there should be a "connect all" menu item somewhere?

If somebody can help me with these two annoyances I'd appreciate it!

TIA :)

well, there is a plugin which does that, it's installed in suse by default. maybe you can find it anywhere, or extract it from a suse install... if you can't find anything, send me an email, i'll try to help.

I've checked my Kopete set up and there is no reference anywhere to plugins. No plugins tab/button at all.

I Googled for "Kopete plugins" but I couldn't find a place to actually download them. Is there a specific plugins site somewhere where I could grab some?

I'm not game to try to extract them from another install - this is all fairly new to me and I'm reluctant to break something in the process. If you could direct me to a plugins download site I'd appreciate it.

Thanks! :)

As i see on my copy you access the plugin from the menu bar (The again i'm using Fedora C4)
Settings -> Configure Plugins
And then just enable the "Connection Stuatus" plugin etc etc
If it really isn't there then i had already come across the sources for the connection plugin here:http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdenetwo…nnectionstatus/

Not sure if thats any help, i'd be surprised if its that different on BSD. Personally i can't find any additional pugins other than those included. Shame really was hoping for a larger community, maybe i'm just not looking right.

Good luck.
