Hi,
I use Galeon because of its property of saving images and links only with ctrl+click on them, after a little patch I've made to it (only shift mask to ctrl mask change and and let it not to ask for destination dir).
So I usually use konqueror to browse the web and I launch galeon only when it is indispensable (what about adding that feature to konqueror? I will kick off gnome from my PC!!!)

I would like to have in konqueror a feature like "Open this web page in Galeon (or something else)". In location menu there is an item: "Open with Galeon...", but it saves the page on a tmp dir and opens it with galeon: completely useless! Only the .html saved, no images and so on.
So, what about a "Open this URL with galeon" item?

Maybe this behaviour can be changed.
Do you have a file called Galeon.desktop? Try:
locate Galeon.desktop
or
locate galeon.desktop

If you find it try replacing the line
Exec=galeon
by
Exec=galeon %u

Does that work?
