cannot preview tar.bz2 in konq

Is anyone else having the same problem trying to view tar.bz2 files in konqueror's embedded viewer? I can view .tar, .tar.gz, and .zip files in the embedded viewer, but not tar.bz2................I keep getting an error message saying:

Quoted

The file or folder
tar:/blah-blah.tar.bz2
does not exist.

I recently upgraded to KDE-3.2.1 using the Slackware pkgs from one of the Slackware mirrors, and I also had to upgrade XFree86 from 4.3.0 to 4.4.0...........My specs: [list]Slackware 9.1
KDE-3.2.1
QT-3.3.1
XFree86-4.4.0 [/list:u]

Also, I searched the KDE Bugs database but didn't find anything there........Also, I _can_ view the files in Ark, just not the embedded viewer.....

Any help or suggestions much appreciated

*** UPDATE ***

I found the problem......................it seems the "official" Slackware binary packages has the bug.

What I did to fix it was to download the "unofficial" Slackware packages from the kde.org server, remove the existing packages and installed the "unofficial" packages...................problem fixed. :)

These kde.org packages also uses an earlier version of qt, qt-3.2.1, and not qt-3.3.1...............................NOTE: I found out that it's important to use the same qt libs any kde binary packages were built with in order to compile source code properly, meaning it's important to use the qt libs supplied with the kde packages you downloaded or you may encounter problems when configuring and making source packages.
