uggly fonts

Hello

After upgrading to kde 3.3 icons are OK but all fonts are very ugly I tried to change some parameter in the control panel but nothing changed.
it is impossible to read

Slackware 10.0 kernel 2.6.8.1.

Have you enabled anti-aliasing?

Also, do the kdegraphics packages have font support in them? I'm not too sure.
