Alt+F1 doesn't open the K Menu in my KDE 3.0.3

I use Mandrake 9.0 with pre-installed KDE 3.0.3.
I need very much the keyboard's shortcut to open K Menu. I used to have such button in all 32 bit Windows.
I found in http://docs.kde.org/en/HEAD/kdebase/kicker/commands.html the following:
"Chapter 8. Command Reference
The Panel
There is only one standard shortcut available in Kicker:
Alt+F1
Opens the K Menu "

However Alt+F1 doesn't open anything in my case. Even I didn't find in KDE a place where I can add such shortcut.
Could somebody advise me?
I hope that there is another choice in my case than to install the newer version of KDE.
Thanks,
Yury.

If you go to the Control Center, which is in the KDE Menu, and click configuration, there is an option called Keyboard Shortcuts, there are all your hotkeys. Although.... I've heard it many times before, but I never seem to be able to remember what the Kicker is :?
