Why KDE has not ability icon hide on/off feature on kicker

I have so much icon on trayicon and there is not place :D Is there any add-on of this feature that I dont know myself?

I don't think that options exists. At least I have never heard of it.

I have never more than 5/6 icons and thats all standard KDE apps. Can you tell me were did you found those apps?
I prefer to have an applications in the tray than buttons in the taskbar.

I did not hear anywhere. Just I wish this feature. In my opinion, this feature is the most important but there isn't. I dont understand KDE sometimes.... :)

Some programs have an option to dock into tray, so you can deactivate it there if you don't like it.

If a program doesn't offer this and you think it should, contact the maintainer.

maybe sent in a wish to the kde dev's... I think it might be cool.
and there is also some hack that allows the icons to be under and above each other - which is nice, too, I hope it will be in KDE 3.2.x asap.

If you increase Kicker's height, tray icons will be displayed in two lines.
