that's one problem KDE has to solve, IMHO. So many options .... As we say in Holland: because of all the trees you dont see the forrest anymore.
Gnome has to less options to choose from but KDE has to many.
Better safe than sorry. I'm a KDE freak, but when I installed Suse 9 on my brothers computer I set him up with Gnome (mainly because Gnome is a tad bit more stable and since KDE 3.2 final is on it's way I didn't want to make things confusing). But I can honestly say that trying to pull simple things on Gnome, like getting a System Tray, is a chore. Of course this is nothing compared to Fluxbox where changing the wallpaper makes me want to reach my jaw aruond and eat my own head...
