start applications when logging on

I want Netscape, Ximian Evolution, and KPPP to start automatically when logging in.
How do I do this?

KDE has an Autostart folder in ~/.kde

You can create links to applications on the desktop, for example by dragging them from the menu and then move them to the folder using the file manager.

Another option is to start the programs and save that session for future logins.
Then the sessionmanager will restart them on login.
