Konqueror tar.gz files

Hi,

I just installed Red Hat 9, using Konqueror 3.1-12. There is a small problem when downloading zipped files (e.g. tar.gz).....Instaed of Konqueror opening the zipped file and letting you extract its contents easily (worked in RH8) it only shows the "temp" file.

Anyone know how to fix this??

You can try to fix this by editing the mime types in kcontrol, or download the file in konqueror to your harddisk, en after that let konqueror open 'ark' to compress the file.
( in kde 3.1 this can be done by keeping the download dialog opened after downloading, and when downloading is finished, select 'open file' in this dialog.)
