Suse 9.1; KDE 3.3.1; Konqueror 3.3.1

Hi,
I am new to Linux and need some help to solve a problem with konqueror that occured recently:
Local html-files are displayed without any problems, but as soon as i point on a http-URL or enter such an URL manually, an error message shows up:

"Could not find the program '%u' "

This seems to be a problem with handling the http protocol, as ftp-URLs are treated correctly. Moreover, the solution to this problem may probably be found in my home-directory, because it does not occur in other users' profiles or as root.
I suspect that the file kfmclient_html.desktop has something to do with it, as it does not exist in other uses' home directories, while in my profile the path is /home/****/.local/share/applications/kde/ kfmclient_html.desktop. Renaming the file has no effect to the problem, though.

thanks a lot for your answer. In the meantime, after a lot of trial- and- error- research, I found a solution via KDE Control center. It is a bit tricky to describe in English, however, because I use the localised German version of KDE and do not now the English equivalents of the menu entries. A rough translation would be:

Control center > KDE-components > Component selection > Web-Browser;
"Open http and https URLs
[ ] in an application based on the contents of the URL
[ ] in the following browser: [ ] [...]

the second possibility was selected *without* indicating which browser to use - that's what obviously caused the problem. After I selected the first possibility, everything went back to normal.
And, yes, there is a /home/***/.kde/share/minelnk/text/html.desktop in my profile, but I resisted the temptation to play around with it :-)
