[kopete] sending via enter

Miranda ICQ uses Double Enter to send messages. I think this would be a great feature for people who want to write more than one line per message.

You can configure that in kopete (don't remember where) but by default Enter sends the message dn Ctrl+Enter does a newline.

But as I said you can configure wich shortcuts send and wich don't.

In the hot keys options, change ctrl + enter by enter+ enter.

See you.

Hmm I think we are talking about two diffrent things.

I don't want to open a new window to write a new message. I want so send a written message via Double Enter instead of using Strg+Enter.

I can't find such a hot key!

I think mk4tube is right. It is possible to make a new line with ctl+enter and an enter alone would send the message.
The only problem is to remember where to configure it.
You guys are not talking about different things.
Thanks a lot.

I'm using enter to add a new line and cntl + enter to send.
It works well for me this way.
Thanks a lot.

well, I can't change the shortcut key to ENTER + ENTER, beacuase by pressing the enter key the dialog is closed. And if I check the 'multi key mode' and pressing enter twice, the message was send after pressing the fist enter.

I don't know how you could confugure this
