I updated thru SuSE YaST2 to KDE 3.1.94. Somewhere in the process something "broke" so that Kopete is very very unstable. After deleting my kopeterc file I was able to finally initiate chats without crashing, but Kopete still crashes whenever I apply new settings or practically do anything else. I decided to download the source for Kopete 8rc1 and also 0.7.5. both configure fine but neither will make. I get an error that libGL.la doesn't exist. Does anyone know what this means? I tried installing the libglame package thinking that it might be related but that didn't help anything. :cry:
