I like to have my windows pretty thin per person, however when someone with a big name (only noticed on msn) starts typing it makes the window as wide as their name. Using kopete 0.7.94 on kde 3.1.4.
hehe yea, I was tired and didn't think of that. I'll try it now. Would still be nice to just have it say "such and ... is typing a message." cutting out what can't fit of their name. Thanks mate
What if one actually likes to see what their contacts are using as names? All of the MSN-based programs I've used will just truncate the name instead of making the window bigger, which seems to make logical sense to me (AMSN, MSN, Gaim, etc).
