more configure problems

hi.
i can't get kopete configured :(
it says:
--
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!
--

i've got mandrake 9.2 and kde 3.1.3.
google says, i have to install kdelibs, but i can't find it within mandrake's packages (i've got kdelibs-common, but as it seems, that isn't it) and all the source-rpm's (found none of already compiled rpms) i found for kdelibs give me an error about not having the user, who owns the files in rpm. so rpm won't --rebuild :(

does anyone know how to get kdelibs installed correctly or where to find kopete 0.8's rpm?

Normally the header files are packaged separately.

Search for packages called something like kdelibs-devel or some such.
