Compiling Kopete just in one language

Dear Kopete Creator,
I want to know if it is possible just to compile the English version of Kopete, rather than for all languages. Or am I missing something here? It has been almost 20 mins and still it is compiling some stuff. (I hope it is not gonna take a lot of disk space from my hard drive) I am using a DELL Inspiron 5100 P4 2.66 computer. Please inform me about this. Thanks in advance.

I don't think kopete includes any multilanguage code inside it. If I understand correctly, language-related code is stored separately for all KDE applications.

Compiling kopete does take time, though.

Yes they are separated from applications :)
