Clock configuration

Ok,

There is another post floating somewhere around here, I think. I am not sure if I posted it before my network on my laptop bugged out or after. If after, no bother.

At any rate, I got back to the military time with the day and date in my system tray. My clock is still in military time after several, and I mean *several*, attempts to both directly and indirectly change it to standard time format.

Would someone out there who is knowledgeable in this area please tell me how to set the clock to standard time, not military time. I have already tried to make the change in KControl. Went into administrator mode for the Date & Time, and through the other way in KControl to set up the format of my time. Can't remember which one. Had to do with regional settings and time format. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

RE: Problem resolved

The way to change it to AM/PM time is to go to "System Settings" --> "Regional & Language" and click the "Time & Dates" tab. Change the "Time Format" entry to the "pH:MM:SS AMPM" setting. After applying and logging back in, the system tray time will change to the AM/PM time.
